Charmed With Charming Charlie

When I was in my late teens and early 20s, Charming Charlie was my jam! My girlfriends and I would be planning a night on the town, which meant we would spend the Saturday before trying on dresses and finding the perfect accessories. Because when your new to the adult scene, you have to look your very best, right?! We loved Charming Charlie, because they were super affordable and had every color of accessory you could think of. You wanted a pink clutch, they had it.

My going out days are well behind me, which meant I spent less and less time at Charming Charlie. Not that I didn’t still love all Charming Charlie had to offer, I’m just a creature of habit and didn’t need going out gear anymore, so I didn’t shop there as often. Then they reached out to me to join their brand ambassador program and I took a second look. Charming Charlie was just as I remembered it, they still have every color of accessory imaginable, but what I didn’t remember were the cute clothes, home decor and shoes! I think because my main goal when I went in there in my younger years was jewelry, I skipped over the fun clothes! They sent me a box full of fun, including this darling OTS blush top, jewelry and a candle that smells so amazing, even when it isn’t lit.

I loved what I saw so much from Charming Charlie, I went back and ordered this top and this top and these darling earrings!

Now, onto shorts. Since my rant about shorts, I’ve found a few pairs that work for me! I grabbed this pair at Francesca’s, and although they are still a little on the tight side, they are a good length. One of my friends saw my Instagram posts and was like, “those shorts are a little short aren’t they?!” But I think it’s just the angle, they aren’t that short at all. I did get the pair I ordered from Nordstrom, that I mentioned in a previous post, and they are PERFECT! They will probably be the pair I wear all summer. I loved the STS Blue pair so much, I went back for in store pick-up for this pair, which are awesome too. They aren’t tight on my legs and aren’t so long that I look stocky, but also aren’t so short that my booty is hanging out, the perfect length! They look different on my frame than they do on the model, but don’t worry I’ll be showing them off on the blog soon!
