I think its safe to say I have a slight obsession with cobalt blue right now. It all began with a hunt for cobalt shoes, searching high and low for months as I sought out the perfect pair. Of course by the time I came across a beautiful pair of pointy toed cobalt heels at DSW, I was still healing from a broken toe at the time, so I just gazed at them lustfully and moved on. My search finally came to an end when I snagged these lovely flats at Old Navy. My obsession has since led to further cobalt purchases such as a laptop case, purse, and nail polish.

This outfit combines so many of my favorites – gingham, golden yellow, that cute little tassel necklace (which sadly met its end while in Miami last month) and, of course, beautiful cobalt blue. Admittedly these pics were taken back in the fall while temperatures were still mild so exposed skin didn’t immediately result in frostbite. Now, with the winter chill, I guess I’ll just have to trade my blue beauties in for some tall boots and roll those sleeves down to avoid freezing my hindquarters off. At least, because of my obsession, I have some backup blue options on hand.
