Petite-Friendly Fall Dresses with Knee High Boots
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Amazon Dress
This Amazon find surprised me! I expected it to feel like a t-shirt dress, but the fabric is more like a scuba knit—soft, stretchy, and silky on the inside. In XS, it comes just above my knee, which makes it a great length with boots. The fit is comfortable overall with a little extra room at the waist. Plus, it comes in several colors.

Boden Corduroy Dress
Corduroy feels so perfect for fall, and this Boden corduroy dress is a classic. I’m wearing Petite 0 and found the fit true to size. The buttons go all the way down, and it has belt loops if you want to add one, but you don’t have to. The above-the-knee length makes it just right with knee-high boots.

Boden Cheetah Print Dress
For something fun, this cheetah print dress from Boden has a comfy, stretchy fit. In Petite 0, it runs roomy but still works. The hemline hits right at my knees, so I went with lighter boots to balance things out. The v-neckline dips a little low, so I pinned mine for extra coverage.

Anthropologie Bettina Corduroy Dress
Anthropologie always has the best prints, and this corduroy dress is gorgeous for fall. It does come in petite sizing, but I found it ran short, so I chose the regular size XXS instead. The swingy fit makes it easy to wear, though if you don’t like roomy dresses, this one may not be for you. I love it with knee high boots.
Quince Sweater Dress
A sweater dress and boots is a fall staple. This Quince ribbed sweater dress is thick, stretchy, and feels nice and structured. I’m wearing XS, and the fit is close but not too clingy thanks to the ribbed fabric. It’s easy to dress up with a scarf and knee-high boots for a polished but comfy outfit.
