Cuddy Studios was kind enough to send me a couple of beautiful pieces from their spring collection, the lace top I mentioned last week and this cute geometric top.

Wesley Geometric Top
The Wesley top is sheer, lightweight and has the cutest little geometric print. Because I’m only 4’11”, this top is a little bit long on me, more of a tunic style. If I was average size, this would probably hit right around hip height and not hide my shorts. But, I will say, I actually like that the top is a little long on me. It will be great over bathing suits this summer, tucked into pretty skirts and with a little tuck, works well with my shorts! I originally had the top tucked from the very beginning, but my fashion savvy husband told me to untuck it…I wish I had gone with my instincts on that one and not listened to him, haha.
STS Blue Frayed Hem Shorts
I’ve been talking about shorts a lot lately. My hunt to find the perfect pair, landed me on the STS Blue line at Nordstrom. In addition to the boyfriend pair I raved about, I also picked up this frayed hem pair. They are also so comfortable and despite how they appear in this post with my long top, they are a good length. All of the frayed areas are stitched so you don’t have to worry about any continued fraying and they have a cute distressed color to them, which I love. Plus, they are only $39.00, win! They also come in white, which I really want!

The Accessories
The geometric print of the top made me think of the Sole Society Palisades clutch. The geometric stitching on the clutch went perfectly with the top and added a little bit of color to the outfit! The clutch itself is larger in person that I expected it to be, is lightweight and soft! I can see it going with lots of cute summer dresses. I originally wanted the beige, so it could go with everything, but I ended up with navy after beige (or whatever they called it) sold out. It is also still available in black! I threw on my favorite Marc Fisher wedges and my Charming Charlie blush earrings to finish off the look.

Where I Wore It
I’m going to be honest with you, I haven’t actually worn this outfit out yet. I specifically wore it for blog pictures, but can see wearing it a lot this summer! These pictures were taken in front of our favorite little spot to get Saturday morning pancakes. It is run by a husband and wife team and they make the bestttttt down home food.
Geometric tops, short shorts and good pancakes; just a few of my favorite things.
