In today’s post I’m sharing three holiday outfits from J.Crew by style. From glam to classic holiday all three are petite-friendly and perfect for a holiday party.

Holiday Party Outfits by Style
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Glam Holiday Outfit: Metallic Dress + Long Coat
In the first outfit, I chose a maxi-length metallic dress and a long ivory coat. The dress doesn’t come in petite and is meant to be a midi length, but I think it’s beautiful as a maxi. I’m wearing it here in xxs and it fits me well through the body. Lengthwise it comes to my ankles, so it works the best with a heel. The dress has a form-fitted lining with adjustable straps and a ribbed metallic overlay that is slightly sheer. The Chiara Coat from J.Crew is an on-trend option that is well proportioned for petites. It has an oversized fit with dropped shoulders, the sleeves come just to my wrists. It’s unlined, so it’s relatively lightweight, but that gives it a beautiful drape. I’m wearing the coat in Petite 00 and would say it’s true to size.

Classic Holiday Outfit: Fair-Isle Sweater + Flare Jeans
For a classic holiday outfit, I paired a fair-isle sweater with flare jeans. The sweater is a perfect fit. The sleeves aren’t too long and the length hits right at my hips, making it perfect for wearing with high-rise jeans. I’m wearing the sweater in XXS and find it to fit true to size. The flare jeans are The Vintage Flare Jeans. They come in different washes and styles. The rinse wash I’m wearing in this post has two flap pockets on the front and square pockets on the back, for a unique style. The jeans are low-stretch 99% cotton, so they stretch with wear. They are a bit snug on my hips and thighs, and a have a room at my waist. I’m wearing them in petite 24 and would consider them true to size overall. In Petite 24, they have a 10.5″ rise and a 29.5″ inseam – the inseam increases as the size increases. A 29.5″ inseam is too long for me with flats; I’m wearing a 2″ heel here. On top, I added my green Toscana coat. It’s the perfect shade of green for the holidays. I wear this coat in Petite 00 and consider it to be true to size, with room to layer underneath. This coat made my favorites list last winter for overall style and comfort.

Semi-Casual Holiday Outfit: Velvet Skirt + Cashmere Sweater
In the final outfit, I went for a semi-casual option with a velvet mini skirt and a cashmere bow sweater. The skirt runs short. I’m wearing it in Petite 00 and would be more comfortable in the regular length instead. Otherwise, it’s a beautiful skirt and I love the way it looks with sheer tights. The skirt hits at your hip, so I let the sweater just meet the top of the skirt. I’m wearing the sweater in XXS and it has a perfect fit. It’s made of cashmere, so it’s pricey – admittedly, I wish it were made of cotton, so this festive sweater would be more reasonably priced. I chose flat boots to complement this outfit due to the length of the skirt. The boots add warmth, but I would also wear ballet flats with this outfit. On top, I chose an ivory Toscana coat to bring the colors together.
