5 Ways to Style a Pleated Skirt | 2025 Fall Workwear Capsule

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Amazon Pleated Skirt

I like to include a skirt for a little variety in my capsules and this pleated skirt from Amazon is one I’ve been leaning on for years. This skirt is fully lined, priced well and washes well. I wash mine in the washing machine, hang it to dry and steam the pleats vertically.

Petite Fit Details

I’m wearing the skirt in a size small. I’m typically XS, but this skirt is hard to come by in that size and I found the small still works well for me. I would say it otherwise true to size, but it has a stretch waist that gives a little flexibility.
