I’m reviewing a few new J.Crew finds today. On socials I tagged these as vacation outfits for a few ideas, but they really just make great pieces for spring and summer.

Spring Outfits from J.Crew
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Denim Skort + Cashmere Set
The first outfit is a denim skort and cashmere sweater set. I offered up this outfit as an elevated sightseeing outfit. The skort is stretchy, a little roomy, and comfortable to walk and move in but gives the look of a skirt. It’s not too short or too tight – bordering on running a little bit large if you’re in between sizes. The sweater set is a perfect fit and is so soft. I love the sweet yellow flowers on it and the ability to add the sweater if warmth is needed or take it off and wear the sleeveless shell on its own. My ballet flats here are comfortable and walkable, but if you’re doing a lot of walking this outfit would also look great with sneakers.

Cotton Poplin Dress
This dress is so classic and ladylike! I absolutely love it. It comes in petite, but petite sizing isn’t yet on the J.Crew website, so it’s one to wait for. I’m wearing it here in Petite 00 and the fit is perfect. The other cotton poplin dress I reviewed last month with sleeves now comes in petite as well. It’s not too big at the arm holes, has functional buttons and a tie waist. It’s a little bit sheer, so I will be adding a nude slip under it. If you’re talking vacation activities, I think this dress is perfect for shopping and going out to lunch! The sandals I’m wearing here are comfortable, but it took me a minute to realize I needed to adjust the straps some at the ankles. If you try them and they feel awkward at first, play around with the straps and you’ll get a better fit.

Linen Dress
This linen dress is a popular share from last year. It is well-proportioned for petites with no gaping at that arms and a length that is short, but not too short. It comes in a few colors but I chose black for the option of dressing it up a little bit. The dress is a lightweight and breathable. It’s a little bit sheer, so you may want to layer a slip or just wear nude undergarments. If you take this one on vacation is perfect for going out to dinner but can also be worn casually with sandals and sneakers. It also to be released in petite online.

Maxi Dress
The last dress of the post doesn’t come in petite – but it sure is pretty. This dress is strapless with a comfortable stretch top. The top isn’t overly tight, but it holds enough that you don’t have to worry about constantly pulling the dress or your bra up. The skirt is full and beautiful! I love the print. On me, this dress is maxi length, coming close to the floor. It looks the best on my height with heels, but could be pulled off with flats. I think this one makes a statement for dinner out!
