Three Comfortable Petite-Friendly Dresses for Thanksgiving from Boden
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

The Sarah Dress from Boden is that perfect mix of comfort and polish. Made from a 50/50 blend of Tencel and cotton, it’s soft, stretchy, and breathable — ideal for a cozy day that still feels special.
This dress hits just above the knee on petites, with an elongating V-neckline that’s not too low. It’s one of those effortless styles you can dress up with heels or keep casual with flats or knee high boots. I find it to fit true to size, and I’m wearing it here in Petite 0.

The Marcia Shirt Dress might be one of the most flattering petite options I’ve tried this season. The vertical stripe pattern creates a lengthening effect that makes you look taller — always a win for petites!
It’s made from the same 50/50 cotton and Tencel blend, giving it that soft, slightly stretchy feel that’s easy to move in. I love that you can wear it for Thanksgiving dinner, then re-style it later for work or casual weekends.
This one runs a little snug through the waist, so I recommend sizing up for the most comfortable fit. I’m wearing it in Petite 0 here, but I could also go up to Petite 2 for a little more room.

The Mila Dress
The Mila Dress is a fall favorite with its embroidered and eyelet details at the shoulders and puff sleeves. It comes in three fall-ready colors, each easy to style with boots, flats, or heels.
This dress has a side zipper closure for a closer fit and hits at my knees. It’s true to size overall, and I’m wearing it in Petite 0. It’s a lovely option if you want something comfortable and classic with a little extra detail.
