Four Casual Petite Workwear Outfits with Dark Green Corduroy Pants

If you’re looking to add something cozy and classic to your fall workwear lineup, these dark green corduroy pants from LOFT are such a great option. They’re the Palmer Pants, and they have an excellent petite fit — true to size with just over a 10” rise and a 27.5” inseam. The fabric is soft, thick, and warm, making them perfect for fall and winter.

Today, I’m sharing four casual workwear outfit ideas featuring these pants — all easy to recreate with pieces you may already have in your closet.

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Tailored Button-Down + Ballet Flats

You can’t go wrong with a crisp white button-down and a pair of ballet flats for a polished yet comfortable office look. I tied a small neck scarf to add a touch of personality and color to the outfit. The white top is from J.Crew Factory and it has a slim tailored fit for petites. I wear it in Petite XXS, which is my true size. It’s a little bit sheer so I recommend wearing a nude bra with it.

Oversized Blazer + Loafers

For the next look, I added structure with an oversized blazer. I’m wearing it in Petite XXS, and it has a long, relaxed fit. It fits me well at the shoulders, and is a little long through the sleeves, but the overall length is the longest I’ve shared in a blazer recently. I added loafers for a little polish. The loafers are true to size and comfortable right out of the box. I’m wearing them in french sand.

Layered Sweater + Boots

For a cozier option, I layered a neutral sweater over a white button-down and finished the look with ankle boots. The slim tailored fit of the white button down is easy to layer and I love the petite-friendly length of the sweater.

Printed Top + Corduroy Pants

For the final outfit, I went with a printed top that ties in beautifully with the color of the pants. The top has an oversized fit, so if you prefer a more tailored look, I recommend sizing down.
