Disclosure: I was gifted a few items from my Trunk in exchange for an Instagram review – I loved the service so much, I wanted to share it on the blog too!
If you follow me on Instagram, you saw that I recently tried Trunk Club for the first time. I’ve been wanting to try a styling service for a while, but was really intrigued with Trunk Club when I found out they were a Nordstrom company. I love me some Nordstrom, so I knew there would be a good chance I would love what comes in their trunks and that there would be sizing options for me.
My first trunk was activewear themed. However, trunks can be for anything you need; wardrobe building, special occasion, anything at all, basically if Nordstrom sells it, you can get it in a trunk. You can set your trunk schedule, whether it be monthly, every other month or just request them as you need them. It started out with a little chat with my stylist, I gave her my sizing, preferences and what type of items I was looking for. Then she sent me a preview of the trunk, and from there you can opt to make changes if you know right off you don’t like something.
The trunk showed up on my doorstep a few days later and I got to have all the fun trying things out!
The box was full of so many great things it was hard to choose favorites! In the end I chose to keep the Longchamp bag and a Zelle hoodie.
I shop online, pretty much exclusively – and shop at Nordstrom often because of their awesome return policy. If it’s not a great fit, I can easily return it. However, Trunk Club makes my online shopping even easier, instead of buying and returning if the size doesn’t work and waiting on a refund, I get to try before committing to buy! Returning the items you don’t choose is really easy too, you simply click a few buttons in your Trunk Club profile to schedule a UPS pickup, set the box on your front porch and they will pick it up for you!
The Details
The styling fee for Trunk Club is $25 and that goes toward any purchases you make from your trunk. However, if you have a Nordstrom card, and link it to your account, the styling fee is waved! In your profile you have the ability to set prices ranges, and style preferences. You can even share Pinterest boards with your stylist!
Overall, I loved the experience and will continue to get Trunks. I’ve already shared a few ideas with my stylist for my next Trunk, I can’t wait to try one again!
