It’s the season of sunny days and celebrations, and my petite friends are looking for the perfect dress. In today’s post, I have a mix of dresses that are all from Kohl’s. Full price, these start out at $60, but if you know anything about shopping at Kohl’s, we never pay full price, so they’re well under that price point and are not only petite-friendly, but budget-friendly too.

Under $60 Petite Dresses
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Toile Dress
This dress feels more expensive than it is. The fabric drapes nicely, doesn’t wrinkle easily, and the skirt is fully lined. I love the adjustable straps and that the cups at the chest have padding, so you could wear this dress without a bra if you wanted to. I find it to be true to size overall and not see through. The back has smocking so there is also stretch at the chest. In Petite XS, the dress is 44″ from shoulder to hem, with the straps tied and adjusted to my height. Regular price this dress is $59.99, but today is marked down to $40. I recommend the MVP bra from Pepper to wear with this dress.

A-Line Dress
This red dress is striking! It’s cotton poplin, which can be tricky when it comes to wrinkles, but I recommend a good steaming and embracing the wrinkles that come with wear. This dress is unlined, but it’s not sheer. The empire waist and seaming at the chest add support, and a side zipper closure completes the look. The straps are adjustable, which is something I appreciate. I’m wearing it here in Petite XS and find it to be true to size overall. In Petite XS the dress is 42″ long from shoulder to hem with the straps adjusted to my height. Full price this dress is $49.99 but it’s on sale today for $33.

Tiered Midi Skirt
My favorite thing about this skirt is the drape and weight of it. It’s a soft cream and dark green stripe that will be beautiful with summer outfits. The skirt is a linen and rayon blend that reminds me of the feel and heaviness of light canvas, but is soft and swishy. It’s true to size, and I’m wearing it here in Petite XS. It has a flat front and elastic back, making it a pull-on style. The skirt is unlined and a little bit sheer – I noted after filming I could see my white top tucked in under the skirt, to remedy that with wear I’ll be tucking my top into a nude slip under the skirt. In Petite XS the skirt is 31.5″ long.
To note – the skirt has sold out in Petite XS, so that size is no longer showing online. The petite selection at Kohl’s is great, but it seems limited as pieces often sell out quickly.

Maxi Dress
This blue and white floral maxi dress is perfect for a casual summer day. It’s lightweight and unlined, so it’s another one I would add a slip with. The buttons are not functional, but it does have a functional tie waist. The v-neck and arm openings are not too low and I find this one to be overall true to size, with a little extra room at the chest on me. I’m wearing it in Petite XS here and it measures 47″ from shoulder to hem. To note, I use the drawstring waist to pull this one up a little bit to my natural waist, which shortens the dress some.

Eyelet Dress
The last dress in this round-up is a mini eyelet dress. It has a shift style with a fabric belt that cinches the waist to give it an A-line look. The buttons are not functional, and this dress doesn’t have any stretch. The dress is fully lined and well-made and fits me well at the chest and arm openings. Overall, I find it to be true to size, and in Petite XS, it measures 31″ from shoulder to hem.
