There may still be snow on the ground, but the ladies in my DMs are already asking for spring. In today’s post, I’m sharing three early spring outfit ideas to help you get ready for the sunny days ahead.

3 Early Spring Outfits for Petites
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Colored Jeans
I’ve shared these colored jeans from Banana Republic Factory in a workwear post as well. They’re a cropped style with a 10″ rise and a 26″ inseam in the standard length, and a 9.5″ rise with a 24″ inseam in petite. I can wear either length, but I’m wearing the standard version here.
Fit note: they run true to size but stretch quite a bit with wear, so I recommend sizing down if possible to help offset the stretch.
I paired them with a wrap top from LOFT here. It’s a little low cut so I added a camisole, but it’s otherwise true to size.

Cropped Jeans
In this outfit, I’m wearing the same jeans in petite, which gives them an ankle-length, cropped fit on me. In white, they aren’t see-through at all, but they do stretch quite a bit with wear, so I still recommend sizing down.
I paired them with an organic cotton fisherman sweater from Quince, a longtime favorite in my wardrobe. It has an oversized, cozy fit, and I love this fresh, spring-ready color.

Wide-Leg Jeans
II first reviewed the Lil’ Hustler Roller Jeans from MOTHER on LTK, but this is their first appearance on the blog. They’re a premium pair of jeans with a price point over $200, but I really love the overall fit.
When I first tried them on, they were too long for me, but they did shrink in the wash and now work well with heels. While they’re technically a wide-leg style, they read more like a flare on my frame — fitted through the hips and thighs with a flare at the hem.
The denim is highly stretchy and runs true to size. They have a 10.5″ rise (slightly higher at the sides) and a 29.5″ inseam. So far with one wash and dry mine have shrunk 1/2″.
I styled them with a boho-inspired top from LOFT and wore it untucked for a relaxed, easy fit.
