Many of you ask for mid-rise jeans—and even more of you ask for budget-friendly options. Finding jeans that are both petite-friendly and affordable isn’t always easy, and some of the brands I rely on most can be on the pricier side. But I hear you—budget it is. In today’s post, I’m rounding up a handful of petite jeans priced at $50 and under.

$50 and Under Petite Jeans

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Quince jeans are all priced at $50, yet they’re on par with many of the $100–$200 pairs in my closet. I truly can’t recommend them enough. They’re made with high-quality materials, including organic cotton, and they’re incredibly comfortable to wear.

I own several styles from Quince and consistently reach for them. The Bella line features a higher 10–10.5″ rise, while the Luna line offers a mid-rise 9″ option. Some of my personal favorites include the Bella Straight, Bella Relaxed Straight, Bella Wide-Leg, and Luna Wide-Leg.

The pair I’m wearing here is the Bella Relaxed Straight. They’re true to size, offer light support without feeling restrictive, and provide a subtle lift in the back without riding up. This style also starts at a 26″ inseam, making it a great option if you need an even shorter length. To note, the jeans shrink in the wash, most of mine have shrunk about an inch over time.

For well-priced petite jeans, Kohl’s is always worth checking. The inventory can be limited, but if you’re able to snag your size, you can often find great petite options for well under $50.

The jeans I’m wearing here are from the LC Lauren Conrad line. They’re available in both petite short and petite average lengths. I’m wearing the petite average, which has a 29″ inseam, while the petite short comes in at 28″. The denim is lightweight with plenty of stretch, and they run true to size overall.

I’m technically wearing a size up here since my true size (00) wasn’t available. They still fit well, but I think my true size would better account for the stretch these jeans develop with wear.

LC Lauren Conrad High Rise Cropped Kickflare Jeans

  • 10.5″ Rise / 26″ Inseam / 7.5″ Bottom Leg Opening (Size 0)
  • 94% Cotton / 5% Polyester / 1 % Spandex

For this pair, I chose standard sizing for a bit more length and better availability. The cropped 26″ inseam works perfectly on a petite frame, and standard sizing tends to sell out less quickly than petite. The denim is stretchy and medium-weight. I’m wearing a size up—similar to how I wear the flare jeans—and they’re slightly loose at the waist on me. This 26″ inseam comes close to the top of my foot so they’re great for wearing with flats, sneakers or boots tucked under the jeans.

The Wide-Leg Jeans from Banana Republic Factory are among the shortest wide-leg options available, making them a great choice for petites. When you catch a sale, they’re also some of the most affordable—often priced around $30. The denim has light stretch and is comfortable to wear, but it does loosen noticeably over time. They run true to size, though you may want to size down to help offset the stretch with wear.

If you’re looking for more budget-friendly petite jeans in addition to these brands I recommend American Eagle (their short and extra short jeans are great), and Old Navy. Old Navy runs too large for me but lengthwise they work well for petites.
