I finally got my hands on the Lodge Pants from Aritzia in my size in the Short length. My first impression? They’re pretty great. In today’s post I’m sharing a closer look at the fit of the Aritzia Lodge Pants, along with a few different outfit ideas for how to style them.

Aritzia Lodge Pants Review: Fit, Sizing, and How They Work for Petites
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Aritzia Lodge Pants Review: How They Fit on Petites
The Aritzia Lodge Pants have a 28″ inseam in XXS Short. The website doesn’t note the short inseam measurement, but it’s possible the inseam increases as sizes increase. With the 28″ inseam, they work well for me when worn at my waist. If I were to wear them lower on my hips, like the model, they would be too long for my frame.
Although I’m typically an XXS at most brands, I often size up to XS at Aritzia because their pieces can run small. In the Lodge Pants, however, XXS fits me best, so I’d consider them true to size/large for Artizia sizing.
The pants have a sleek wide-leg silhouette and come in a few different fabrics. In this post, I’m wearing the Crepette fabric, which is wrinkle-resistant and has a beautiful drape. They just graze the ground on my frame, which is how they are intended to be worn.
While a 28″ inseam works for my proportions, I’ve heard from some of my readers that they need closer to a 26″ inseam for a full-length fit. In that case, the Banana Republic Factory pants I previously reviewed may be a better option once they’re back in stock. They have a very similar look and feel to the Artizia pants but have a 27″ inseam and are also a lot less expensive.

In conclusion, I think the Aritzia Lodge Pants are a great option. They’re comfortable, wrinkle-resistant, and easy to dress up or down, which makes them a versatile piece for everyday outfits.
While the 28″ inseam won’t work for every petite, it can be a great fit for those whose proportions allow for a slightly longer inseam. If the length works for you, the Lodge Pants are a polished, comfortable option that can easily move from casual outfits to more dressed-up looks.
