Burgundy Pants Five Ways

The rich colors of fall are my absolute favorite to wear. So it goes without saying, I’m excited about the fall fashion ahead. In today’s post, I’m styling a pair of deep burgundy wide-leg pants in five neutral ways.

The Hayden Pants from Banana Republic Factory have a 29″ inseam, so they’re a touch too long for me with a pair of flats. But these pants are so perfect otherwise, I don’t mind wearing heels (for reference, my heels are around 2″). The pants have a stretch elastic waist with a flat front and elastic at the back. The fabric is thick and forgiving and drapes beautifully. They’re true to size and machine washable. A great pair of pants for work.

These pants have been a top seller on my blog since I first shared them in this post for teachers, so I knew I wanted to do more with them. This gorgeous color pairs with a lot of different colors, and I found myself wishing I had olive and gold tops to pair with them, but I settled on a few neutral pairings with cream, white, black, navy, and, of course, burgundy.

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
