I’ve tried a few styles from Kut from the Kloth in the past, and I felt like it was time to take another look at the brand. This time, I tried three different styles: a wide-leg corduroy pant, a cropped wide-leg jean, and a slim straight-leg pant. I ended up loving the fit of all three!

There are a few things that hold true across all three styles. First, they’re all incredibly soft and stretchy. If you prefer denim and pants with plenty of stretch, I think you’ll love these. Despite being soft and comfortable, I found that they still offered a flattering, supportive fit through my hips and thighs. They held their shape well with wear and didn’t overly stretch out or bag out.

Kut from the Kloth generally recommends sizing down in many of their jeans. I’m wearing my usual size 00 in all three styles, which is the smallest size available. They fit me well, but I do think I could have followed that sizing recommendation if a smaller size had been an option.

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Kut from the Kloth Jean Corduroy Wide-Leg Pants

The Jean Corduroy Pants are a high-rise, wide-leg style made from a soft, medium-weight corduroy. They have a comfortable stretch that makes them easy to wear, but the fabric still has enough structure to hold its shape.

I also love the color options! I chose Brownie, a rich dark brown that I think will look beautiful dressed up for the holidays. They’re an easy style to wear casually. With the inseam I personally need a low heel, so I’ll wear these with boots and heels.

Kut from the Kloth Meg Wide-Leg Jeans

Fabric: 79% Cotton, 20% Lyocell, 1% Spandex

The Meg Wide-Leg Jeans ended up being my favorite of the three styles I tried. They have a modern, relaxed shape with a wide leg, raw hem, and a side panel detail that makes them a little different from a classic pair of wide-leg jeans.

The fabric is incredibly soft and comfortable, with just enough stretch to move with you while still holding its shape.

They’re a cropped style, but depending on your height and proportions, they may be full-length. On my 4’10” frame, they’re closer to a full-length fit.

Kut from the Kloth Avery Straight-Leg Pants

I don’t wear slim straight-leg pants as often as relaxed or wide-leg styles, but I think the Avery Straight Pants are an excellent option if this is your preferred fit.

They have a high 10.25″ rise and a slim straight shape that follows the leg without being overly tight. Like the other two styles, they’re soft and stretchy, making them comfortable to wear throughout the day.

In petite sizing, they have a 25.5″ inseam and a 16.5″ leg opening. The length works well on my 4’10” frame, and I like that the leg opening is wide enough to accommodate different shoe styles.

Although they’re a slimmer style, I think they’re still easy to wear with boots in the winter. Just choose a pair with a slim shaft that fits comfortably underneath the leg opening. They also pair nicely with sneakers, ballet flats, and loafers.

Kut from the Kloth Petite Jeans

After trying these three styles, I’m impressed with the fit and comfort of Kut from the Kloth. All three pairs are soft, stretchy, and comfortable. I loved the petite proportions and look forward to trying more from Kut from the Kloth.
