LOFT Summer Style - Pumps & Push Ups

Somebody find me a beach, I’m ready to show off my summer style. More importantly, I’m ready to catch a tan (don’t judge me), wear shorts every day, instead of just when the weather decides to cooperate and be carefree. Yep, even as an adult, be carefree. I mentioned in my last post that my hubby and I are getting ready to celebrate our tenth wedding anniversary, so we’ve planned a beach trip. Not alone, I haven’t mustered up the courage to leave the boys behind just yet, but I’m still just as excited!

I’m going to start this post off a little different, because if I had to pick a star it would be my accessories. Winkwood sent me these fun sunglasses, they’re unique, let me tell ya’. They’re wooden, handmade and can float in water. In case I turn into a surfer at the beach, I’ll be covered. It took me a little bit to get used to them, they’re a little bit bolder than I tend to be, but they have fun reflective lenses and they’re called creamy waffle. So, I’m into them.

Oh For Shore Tote Bag

I’ve had my eye on several bags with catchy phrases for the beach. This one just so happened to fit the ticket and makes me so happy! We just recently planned our family beach trip, but I’ve had a trip planned this summer for my best friend’s bachelorette weekend, for a while, so I’ve been grabbing all of the cute beach things that I can!

Striped Side Tie Shorts

Remember my LOFT ordering spree? These shorts were a part of that purchase. Well the top too, but we’ll get to that. The side tie shorts have a darling bow on the sides and are elastic in the back, which makes them totally comfortable. I think they’re super cute. My favorite part about these LOFT shorts, is that they aren’t tight in the thighs. Hallelujah! I think they make my thighs look thin, which had me doing a couple extra turns in front of the mirror.

Eyelet Flounce Tank

Ok, so yes, this LOFT tank top was also a part of that big order. Another cutie pie I couldn’t part with. It has a cute eyelet trim around the top and ties at the straps. But don’t be fooled like me, you can’t untie the straps. In one way, it’s nice, you don’t have to worry about them coming undone, but there was another side of me that wanted to tie them up a little higher. But overall, the top is true to size and not gaping in the arm holes, which can be an issue with tanks tops.
