In my recent roundup of petite-friendly cotton skirts, I shared this mid-length option from Ann Taylor. It’s fully lined, has a back zipper closure, and features a structured, polished fit. It does run large at the waist, so I recommend sizing down for the best fit.

This skirt works especially well for a more polished outfit. I paired it with a boatneck top from Nordstrom and finished the look with a gold rope necklace and gold sandals to tie everything together.

The Lodge Shorts from Aritzia are just as good as the pants. They’re wrinkle-resistant and wash beautifully. The shorts feature a drawstring waist, a relaxed leg, and a 5″ inseam. I wear them in XS.

I paired them with a top from Nordstrom. Some reviewers say it runs small, but I found it to be true to size. That said, it doesn’t have any stretch, so it may feel snug if you have a fuller chest.

White Dress

An easy one-and-done: a simple white dress. This linen-blend dress from Banana Republic Factory is true to size and fully lined, so it’s not see-through. It features two ties at the neckline, a dropped waist, and a full skirt. Since it’s a blend, it’s less prone to wrinkling than 100% linen, though it will still wrinkle slightly with wear.
