Three Holiday Dresses from Boden
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Kate Lace Dress
The Kate Lace Dress is truly timeless. It’s fully lined with a delicate lace overlay, functional buttons at the chest, pockets, and a classic fit-and-flare silhouette. It even felt special the moment I pulled it out of the package. I’m wearing it in Petite 0, and while it’s a bit oversized through the chest with the waist sitting slightly low, the fabric belt helps pull it up to my natural waist. If you can, sizing down may give the best overall fit. To secure the extra fabric after cinching, I used a small tack gun, and it worked perfectly.

The Tie Neck Midi Dress instantly makes me think of New Year’s Eve — but in a classy, understated way. It’s true to size; I’m wearing Petite 0. The dress is fully lined with a sheer overlay embellished with metallic dots. The mix of gold and silver lets you go either way with your accessories. I love the subtle fit-and-flare shape and the versatile tie-neck detail — you can wear it in a bow, like I did, or drape it loosely like a scarf.

Kate Velvet Dress
The Kate Dress also comes in a velvet version in three beautiful colors. The velvet is soft, stretchy, and lighter than the lace option, but the overall fit is similar — it runs a little large through the chest, and I used the belt to pull it in at my natural waist. I love the rich color of this one; I’m wearing Dark Cherry here.
