Pink is one of those colors that feels especially fitting for summer. From soft blush tones to brighter shades, it adds color to an outfit while still feeling easy to wear. Whether you’re looking for an everyday outfit, a casual weekend look, or something to pack for vacation, pink works across a variety of styles and occasions.

As part of my Summer Outfits by Color series, today I’m sharing four pink outfits that work especially well on a petite frame. From dresses to shorts, these are all pieces I’ve recently worn and tested at 4’10”.

4 Pink Summer Outfits for Petites

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Pink Poplin Dress

The first outfit is an above-the-knee dress from Treasure & Bond at Nordstrom that beautifully combines comfort and style.

The dress features a soft, stretchy ruched bodice paired with a full cotton poplin skirt. The fitted top helps balance the volume of the skirt.

I’m wearing the dress in XXS, but I do find it runs small. If you’re between sizes or prefer a little extra room through the bodice, I would recommend sizing up.

The shorter length is one of my favorite details. It hits above the knee on my 4’10” frame, making it an easy summer dress to wear with flats, sandals, or casual sneakers.

Pink Eyelet Maxi Dress

For the second outfit, I went with a pink eyelet maxi dress from Amazon.

This dress was a surprisingly great find. Amazon can be hit or miss when it comes to fit and quality, but this one exceeded my expectations. It’s fully lined through the bottom tier, which gives it a polished feel and eliminates concerns about transparency.

The fit works well for me throughout the shoulders, chest, and waist, which can be difficult to find in a maxi dress as a petite. I also appreciate that the neckline isn’t overly low-cut, making it easy to wear for a variety of occasions.

Best of all, the length works with flats on my frame, making it a comfortable option for everyday summer wear, casual events, or weekend outings.

Pink Top and White Denim Shorts

For a more casual outfit, I paired a pink top from Target with white denim shorts.

One feature I really like about this top is the adjustable cinched neckline. I was able to tighten it, which helped shorten the overall fit and made it work much better for my petite proportions. The key is to pull one side at a top, not both at the same time.

I’m wearing the top in XS and found the fit comfortable and easy to wear. Paired with white denim shorts, it creates a simple summer outfit.

Pink Vacation Dress

The final outfit is a pink dress from Target that immediately made me think of vacation.

The dress is technically designed to be worn strapless and features a bow detail at the chest. For a little more support and a different look, I took the ties from the bow and wrapped them around my neck to create a halter-style neckline instead.

The dress is unlined and runs too long for me to comfortably wear with flats, but it works well with a heel or wedge sandal. The longer length and flowing silhouette give it a resort-inspired feel that’s perfect for vacation dinners, beach destinations, or summer events.
