Summer Outfits by Color: Blue

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Midi Dress for Petites

This J.Crew Factory dress is a perfect midi length for petites. It has pockets, is fully lined, and has a button closure in the back. It comes with a rope belt that I decided not to wear (and intend to clip the strings on the side of the dress for the belt). For size reference, I’m wearing it in Petite XXS, and it’s a perfect fit all around. The beachy print makes it perfect for a summer vacation! The dress is 98% cotton and is machine washable.

Artizia Regal Dress

This is the Regal Dress from Aritzia. It’s not a petite dress but is well proportioned for someone with a smaller frame, much like the Regal Vest. It features a polished, tailored fit and is a true mini length for petite women. It’s made from Japanese crepe, so it doesn’t wrinkle easily. The dress is fully lined with functional buttons. It’s possible you could wear this to work, but it’s on the short side, so it may be best suited for wearing out to dinner or an occasion where you want to dress up a little. It runs small, so I recommend sizing up. I’m wearing the dress in a size 0 for comparison.

Linen Mini Dress

I found this dress on Amazon. It’s from The Drop brand, which isn’t the least expensive on Amazon, but the pieces are high-quality and the sizing starts at XXS. The dress is fully lined with adjustable straps, allowing for easy adjustment to your height. I opted for XXS in this dress, but I could have sized up for a little more room across the hips.

White Denim Shorts + Striped Top

The last two outfits are similar, but can cater to different tastes. For my friends who don’t love wearing sleeveless tops, the puff sleeve option has you covered. I’m wearing both tops in XXS and find them to fit true to size. The shorts are thick and not see-through, but they do run a little bit large. Not enough to size down, but enough to note a little extra room in the fit.
