If you’re getting ready for summer, I have two pairs of waterproof sandals to share that are perfect for pool and beach days. One pair I’ve had and loved for years, and the other is new to me this season. Both start at a size 5 (with one even starting at a size 4), so they’re great options for smaller feet too.

Comfortable Waterproof Sandals for Size 5 Feet (Petite-Friendly Picks)
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Reef Water Vista
I bought my first pair of Reef Water Vista sandals a few years ago, and they’ve been my go-to for all of summer’s adventures ever since. They’re not only comfortable and easy to walk in, but they’re also fully waterproof and stay securely on your feet—even in the water.
I’ve worn them to water parks, on the boat, to the beach, and to countless pool days. Since they’re made of rubber, they’re also easy to clean. That said, I did pick up a new pair this year to replace my very well-loved original pair.
They’re true to size and start at a size 5.

Crocs Miami Two Strap Sandals
As much as I love my Water Vista sandals, I wanted to add a pair of waterproof sandals that felt a little more polished. I chose the Miami Two Strap from Crocs.
They’re surprisingly comfortable and not tight across my feet. This pair runs true to size and starts at a size 4, which is great for smaller feet.
I plan to wear these with linen pants and swimsuit cover-ups for beach and pool days.

I also included one of my favorite swimsuits in this post. When it comes to swimwear, I look for full coverage and support—especially at the chest, along with a full-coverage bottom. I’m usually with my kids and doing something active, so coverage is key for me.
This one-piece from J.Crew Factory comes back each season in different prints. It has built-in shelf support with padding at the chest and a removable strap. It’s also ruched through the midsection, which makes it both flattering and very comfortable.
I wear it in XXS, and I find it to be true to size.
