4 Work Outfits with White Jeans (Petite-Friendly & Office Ready)
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
The Jeans I’m Wearing
The Quince Bella Relaxed Straight Jeans are one of my go-to recommendations for petites. They have a 10–10.5″ rise and come in multiple inseam options starting at 26″, which is what I’m wearing here.
The fit is a modern, relaxed straight—slightly roomier than a slim straight, but not as wide as a true wide-leg. I often suggest this style if you want to try a wider silhouette without feeling overwhelmed by fabric. They’re true to size and a great option if you’re looking for a clean, polished pair of white jeans that still feel comfortable. In white the jeans aren’t see-through. I did note that white runs a little bit smaller than the other washes of these jeans. So if you’re between sizes, I recommend a size up.
If you’re looking for other white jeans, I recommend this cropped wide leg from BR Factory (also in full-length) and these straight jeans from Quince.
Outfit 1: White Jeans + Navy Blazer + Loafers
In the first outfit, I went with a classic combination: a navy blazer, white jeans, and loafers. A blazer instantly makes jeans feel more professional, so I leaned on this pairing more than once in this post.
The blazer I’m wearing is the Sculpted Stretch Blazer from Banana Republic Factory. It’s well proportioned through the shoulders and sleeves, has a longline fit, and is slightly boxy through the body. I find it to be true to size with a relaxed, comfortable fit.
I paired the look with slim loafers for a polished but comfortable finish. In a light tan color, they help keep the leg line long, which balances the slightly cropped, wider leg of the jeans.
This blazer was part of my recent Blazers for Petites post. Check out that post for a comparison and full review.

Outfit 2: White Jeans + Taupe Plaid Blazer
For a softer neutral look, I styled the jeans with a taupe plaid blazer. This outfit feels just as polished as the navy version, but a little lighter for spring. I pulled out the brown from the plaid for my base layer and kept the same loafers.
The subtle pattern adds interest without overwhelming a petite frame, and the neutral tones keep the outfit easy to mix and match. The blazer is true to size and comfortable to wear. The blazer has stretch, so it’s not tight or restrictive at the arms or shoulders.

Outfit 3: White Jeans + Striped Button-Down
A striped button-down is a simple way to create a polished but relaxed work outfit. I like to tuck it in to define the waist and keep proportions balanced.
The top I chose here is from J.Crew Factory. They often offer their button-down tops in petite sizing, and they have a slim, balanced fit.

White Jeans + Soft Rose Cashmere Cardigan
For something a little softer, I paired the jeans with a cashmere cardigan in a soft rose tone. This is a great option for cooler offices or transitional weather.
Styling the cardigan with the buttons undone to the waist helps balance the relaxed jeans, and the color adds a subtle pop without being too bold for work.

White jeans are more versatile than they get credit for, especially when styled with classic, polished pieces. With the right fit and a few easy combinations, they can absolutely work in a professional setting. If you’ve been hesitant to try them for work, I hope these outfits give you a few simple ways to start.
