Office Holiday Party Outfits

My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

Velvet Flare Pants

The star of this outfit is a pair of velvet flare pants from LOFT. In petite, they have a 10″ rise and a 29.5″ inseam, which works best with heels on my 4’10” frame. I’m wearing Petite 24, though I could size up, or opt for the curvy fit, since they’re a bit snug through the hips and thighs. I styled them with a neutral satin top from Banana Republic Factory and a crepe blazer from Ann Taylor for a polished, office-ready holiday look.

Red Suit

Nothing makes a statement quite like a monochromatic suit — especially in vibrant red. This set from Ann Taylor has a gorgeous petite fit. The pants are a side-zip crepe style with a 10″ rise and 29.5″ inseam in petite, which works best with a high 3″+ heel. The blazer fits perfectly in Petite 00, sleeves included. For the base layer, I added a satin top from Spanx with a draped collar for a sleek, dressy finish.

Winter White

I pulled out a pair of winter white trousers from Ann Taylor that were a favorite from last year. In petite, they have a 10.5″ rise and a 28.5″ inseam, and they pair beautifully with a velvet mock-neck top from Banana Republic Factory and the drapey Chiara Coat from J.Crew. Both pieces are true to size — I’m wearing the top in XXS and the coat in Petite 00.
