II have to include a workwear post at least once a week — it’s a reader favorite, after all. In this week’s post, I styled a full week of petite-friendly outfit ideas using a few pieces from the mini travel capsule I shared last week, along with items from recent workwear posts.

One Week of Outfit Ideas for Work: Petite-Friendly
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Monday
This pleated skirt is a longtime favorite on my blog. I’ve styled it in countless posts and still reach for it regularly. It’s from Amazon, fully lined, and has held up beautifully over time. It washes well (I hang it to dry) and features a comfortable stretch waistband. The color is labeled “brown,” though it reads more like a soft rose in person.
I paired it with the stretch ponte blazer from WHBM that I featured in my recent travel capsule. The slightly shorter length of the blazer pairs perfectly with the skirt and keeps the proportions balanced.

Tuesday
For Tuesday, I paired stretch wide-leg pants with the satin top from my mini travel capsule. I first shared these pants in navy, and they received rave reviews from many of you — several readers even said they fit better than other similar styles they’ve tried.
I agree. They strike a nice balance: slim through the hips without feeling tight, and the fabric has a substantial weight with comfortable stretch that holds its shape. They’re true to size, and in petite they feature a 10″ rise and a 27.5″ inseam. I went back for this taupe pair – a color I don’t style often. In this light color, they’re not one bit see-through.

Wednesday
I first styled this white dress in last week’s capsule post. It’s true to size, incredibly soft, and has plenty of stretch for comfort. It’s also fully lined, so it isn’t see-through — even in white.
I paired it with a soft plaid longline blazer from Ann Taylor for a polished finish.

Thursday
For Thursday, I repeated a few pieces — styling the same top and blazer from Monday with the navy version of the stretch wide-leg pants from Tuesday. It creates a polished outfit that’s incredibly comfortable and easy to wear.

Friday
I finished out the week by pairing Tuesday’s pants with a classic button-down and a navy cashmere cardigan. Whether you actually wear these pieces all in one week or not, my goal is to give you a variety of ideas for styling the same items in different ways.
