Building on my recent Winter Workwear Capsule Wardrobe for petites, I’ve put together a week’s worth of outfit ideas using some of those core staples, along with a few new additions. Here you’ll find five outfits for work with comfortable stretch pants, petite-friendly blazers and a dress.

One Week of Outfit Ideas for Work
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Monday
On Monday, I styled a pair of stretch ponte pants from Banana Republic Factory. In petite, they have a 10″ rise and a 27.5″ inseam. They’re soft, forgiving, and easily the most comfortable pair of pants in this post. I find them to be true to size. I paired them with an equally comfortable knit jacket and a white button-down from the capsule wardrobe.
You can see more ways to wear these pants in this post.

Tuesday
For Tuesday, I styled a pair of ponte cropped flare pants from the capsule wardrobe. This pair has a 10″ rise and a 26.5″ inseam in standard sizing; if you prefer a more cropped fit, I recommend choosing the petite length. I find these to run small, so I sized up.
I paired them with a plaid blazer from Ann Taylor. The blazer has a modern, slightly boxy fit but is still well proportioned for petites. My favorite part is the color combination—a neutral mix of dark brown, taupe, and light blue.

Wednesday
For Wednesday’s look, I pulled a pair of pants from my Winter Workwear Capsule for 2025. This cream pair of wide-leg pants from Ann Taylor features a clean flat front and a slim wide-leg silhouette. The soft off-white color is thick and warm, making them perfect for the season. I find them to be true to size and am wearing Petite 00.
I paired them with a unique wrap top, also from Ann Taylor, in a warm brown shade that pairs beautifully with cream and camel. The top is true to size, and the wrap stays securely closed. I’m wearing it in Petite XXS. I let the top drape a little more than than model, not really meaning to but seeing how it’s wrapped tighter on the model, I like it either way.

Thursday
Thursday’s outfit features another pair of ponte pants from this season’s capsule. These straight-leg ponte pants are from Banana Republic and, like the cropped style, run small, so I recommend sizing up. I’m wearing them in petite; in petite, they have a 10″ rise and a 26.5″ inseam.
I paired the pants with a rich brown blazer, and I absolutely love the color combination. The blazer has a modern, oversized fit, and the sleeves hit right at my hands.

Friday
For Friday’s outfit, I borrowed a dress from my Spring Event Dresses post and paired it with a blazer to make it work-appropriate. I love how versatile this dress is—it’s easy to dress up or down. The ruching across the midsection is especially flattering and leads into a draped neckline, giving the look a polished finish. I’m wearing it in XXS here, and it fits me well. From shoulder to hem, in XXS, the dress measures 44″.
