I’m back with another round-up of petite-friendly pants and jeans for spring. This time, I focused on a classic pair of white jeans, striped jeans, cotton pants, and an easy pull-on chambray style. The inseams range from 25.5″ to 27.5″, making them truly petite-friendly options you can wear right off the rack. Think of these as the foundation pieces for all your spring outfits.

Petite-Friendly Spring Pants and Jeans
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.

The Wide-Leg Jeans from Banana Republic Factory are among the shortest wide-leg options available, making them a great choice for petites. When you catch a sale, they’re also some of the most affordable—often priced under $50. The denim has light stretch and is comfortable to wear, but it does loosen noticeably over time. They run true to size, though you may want to size down to help offset the stretch with wear. In white, these jeans aren’t see-through. I love having at least one pair of white jeans in my spring and summer wardrobe to mix with fun colors.

PAIGE Anessa High-Rise Straight-Leg Ankle Jeans

The Anessa Ankle Straight Jeans from PAIGE are my ideal straight-leg fit — not too slim, not too wide. The denim is soft and stretchy with a supportive feel that smooths and holds its shape throughout the day. I love this neutral tan and white stripe wash, which reads almost like a soft cream from a distance. They’re true to size. I look foward to wearing these jeans with sneakers, ballet flats and sandals this spring and summer.

LOFT Palmer Wide-Leg Crop Pants

The Palmer Wide-Leg Crop Pants are a classic LOFT silhouette that returns each season in new colors, fabrics, and prints. This version is a lightweight stretch cotton in a brown and white stripe.
I measured my pair in Petite 00 and noticed a significant difference from the inseam listed online. The website states a 23.5″ inseam for petites, but mine measured 25.5″. The rise is also not the 11″ + rise that’s stated, but a 10.5″ rise.
Fit-wise, they’re true to size with comfortable stretch, but they do relax with wear. If you’re between sizes or prefer a closer fit, you may want to size down to offset the stretch.

LOFT Sawyer Pull-On Pants

The Sawyer Pull-On Pants from LOFT are an easy, relaxed pull-on style. Like the Palmer pants, I found the measurements differed from what’s listed online. In Petite XXS, mine measured a 9″ rise and a 27″ inseam, which felt slightly lower in rise and shorter in length than expected. This could be due to the smaller size. It’s not uncommon for brand measurements to be the average of sizing, and inseams often go up as sizes go up.
These come in several colors and fabrics, but the chambray version is my favorite. The fabric is soft with a substantial feel, while the striped option felt more synthetic and slightly sheer to me.
I love the relaxed fit of this pair and can already tell they’ll be on repeat this spring and summer — especially styled casually with sandals.
