A comfortable pair of sneakers is an easy way to keep summer outfits casual without sacrificing style. Whether you’re pairing them with shorts, linen pants, or a dress, sneakers add a relaxed feel that’s perfect for everyday wear, travel, and weekends.

For today’s post, I’m styling Quince’s leather sneakers three ways for summer. They’re soft, flexible, and have a lightly padded footbed that felt comfortable from the first wear. I haven’t had the chance to put them through a full day of heavy walking yet, but I’ll be sure to update this post once I do. For now, they’re off to a great start and have been easy to style with a variety of outfits. They start at a size 5 and are true to size.
3 Summer Sneaker Outfits for Petites
My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). The clothes shown are unaltered and show how they fit me right from the store. I list my sizing beside each item to help you compare when shopping online. When referencing my true size, that is often the smallest option available at a brand or petite xxs/00/24. I wear a size 5 shoe.
Outfit 1: Sneakers with Tailored Shorts
For the first outfit, I paired the sneakers with Aritzia’s Lodge Shorts, Quince’s cotton jersey boatneck tank, an oversized denim jacket from Abercrombie, a woven sling bag, and simple gold jewelry.
The Lodge Shorts have a polished crepe fabric that elevates a casual outfit. I do find they run small through the waist, so I’d recommend sizing up if you’re between sizes. They also come in a linen version, which would be another great option for summer.
The fitted boatneck tank creates a clean base, while the oversized denim jacket adds just enough structure for cooler mornings or evenings. The sneakers keep the outfit comfortable and casual while complementing the polished feel of the shorts.

Outfit 2: Sneakers with Linen Pants
For the second outfit, I swapped in Quince’s linen pants and paired them with Abercrombie’s 100% cotton tank in XXS.
These linen pants from Quince are a great petite fit. They’re true to size and available in inseams starting at 26 inches. I’m wearing the 28-inch inseam, but the best length for you will depend on your proportions and the shoes you plan to wear.

Outfit 3: Sneakers with a Linen Dress
For the final outfit, I styled the sneakers with Quince’s linen dress from their new petite collection.
I’m so excited to petites offered at Quince. The length of this dress is well proportioned for a petite frame, and the armholes fit comfortably without feeling oversized. It’s also fully lined, so there’s no need to worry about it being sheer.
Paired with sneakers, this dress feels effortless and comfortable while still looking put together. It’s an easy outfit for weekends, sightseeing, or any day when you want to stay cool without sacrificing style.
