My Sizing: I’m 4’10”, and my bust, waist, and hip measurements are 32″, 24″, and 36″. My inseam is 25″ (the measurement from the inside of my leg to my ankle bone). When it comes to petite-friendly linen, Quince is easily a top contender. In this outfit, I’m wearing a cropped linen top and tailored linen shorts—both 100% linen. I’m wearing the top in XS and it fits me well, with a great length and no gaping at the arm openings. The shorts are also a great fit, with a button and zipper closure and a stretch panel at the back waist for added comfort. They’re fully lined, and I wear them in size 0.

Fitted Linen Top + Cotton Maxi Skirt
The 100% organic cotton maxi skirt from Quince is both petite-friendly and versatile. It’s fully lined and well proportioned, even with its full, voluminous shape. I paired it with a fitted linen top for balance. The top has adjustable button straps—I’m wearing them crossed to shorten the length—and a zipper closure in the back. It’s lined and not see-through.

Organic Cotton Denim Shorts + Cotton Tee + Cotton Gauze Button Down
When I first shared the ten pieces I’d buy if I were building a wardrobe from scratch, I said I could almost do it entirely from Quince. At the time, they didn’t offer denim shorts—but now they do, and that statement fully holds up.
The Bella Vintage Stretch Shorts have a high 10.5″ rise and a 4 3/4″ inseam, with the same comfortable stretch as their jeans. They’re 73% organic cotton, 26% Lyocell Tencel, 1% spandex. I tried two sizes since I usually size up in shorts for my thighs, but these ended up being true to size.
I paired them with a 100% organic cotton gauze button-down that’s soft, breathable, and has a relaxed, comfortable fit. I’m wearing it in XS and it runs oversized. Underneath, I layered one of Quince’s boatneck tank tops. It’s currently sold out, but they offer several 100% cotton tees that make great alternatives until I can link this one for you again.

Did I count the shorts twice because I used two different colors? Yes—but not intentionally. I had already hit ten, so I just went with it. Either way, they’re worth mentioning again.
They’re just as good in white and not see-through at all. I did notice they run slightly smaller in this color, so while they’re still overall true to size, I’d recommend sizing up if you’re between sizes.
I layered an organic cotton sweater on top for a cozy summer evening look. It’s 100% organic cotton with a nice medium weight—perfect for cooler nights—and has an oversized, comfortable fit in my true size.

Smocked Cotton Poplin Dress
This cotton poplin dress is a maxi-length option for petites. The stretch smocked top is comfortable and doesn’t stretch out with wear. I love that the sleeves are wide enough to wear with a regular bra. Although some of the solid colors of this dress are unlined, this light option is fully lined. I wear this dress in XS and find it to fit true to size overall.
